Tidy Gaiters work with a wide range of shoes. Almost any trail, hiking, running, or everyday shoe is compatible with Tidy Gaiters. Since the gaiters fit just above the ankle, they are designed for use with mid-height shoes. The functionality can only be guaranteed if the gaiters can fit snugly on the leg above the shoe shaft. Therefore, the shafts of hiking or other boots are usually too high. Depending on the model, mid-height shoes may be suitable in some cases.

Tidy Gaiters can be used with most low-cut shoes. Almost any trail, hiking, running, or everyday shoe is compatible with Tidy Gaiters. It is important that the gaiter can fit just above the ankle. Tidy Gaiters are designed to be used with nearly all mid-height shoes.

On uneven surfaces like porous mesh, the self-adhesive Velcro strip does not adhere properly. In many cases, using super glue can help. Additionally, trimming the Velcro strip to fit or positioning it higher or lower may also be effective.

For optimal adhesive properties of the Velcro strips in the heel area, the shoes used should be new or at least as clean as possible. If necessary, thoroughly clean the surface of the shoes with soap, water, and alcohol wipes before attaching the self-adhesive Velcro strips. Then, allow the surface to dry completely.
