Ultralight performance underwear, engineered for ultra-trail runs and marathons. T8 uses Asian sizing.
We recommend ordering one size up compared to standard European sizes.

Women’s Hip Measurement

  • 71-76 cm = M
  • 76-81 cm = L
  • 81-89 cm = XL

Hip measurement should be taken where the top waistband of your underwear sits.

Women who prefer a looser fit may try the men’s version. Men who prefer a tighter fit may consider the women’s version.

About T8

The name T8 comes from “Typhoon Signal 8,” the warning level used in Hong Kong during severe storms. T8 running gear is designed to perform even in extreme tropical conditions – perfect for runs in heat, humidity, or just everyday wear. All products have been extensively tested in the tropical environment of Hong Kong and are guaranteed to be chafe-free.

The T8 Commandos underwear is truly a unique product. After many years of outdoor experience and countless long-distance hikes and thru-hikes, I finally found the perfect ultralight performance boxer shorts.

The Commandos are not only incredibly lightweight, but also extremely comfortable to wear. Even after several days of use, they hardly develop any odor, dry exceptionally fast, and protect better than any other underwear I know against chafing and saddle sores.

Although the T8 Commandos are neither developed nor manufactured by Tidy Gear, I am so convinced of their quality that I confidently offer them in my webshop with my full recommendation.
